A Christmas “special” in the Hana series, stories of Lani and Max and their family in the remote town of Hana on the beautiful tropical island of Maui. Lani’s old friends from the Hudson Valley, the Holmquist family, come to visit for Christmas. Suddenly, their 17 year old daughter Mia, who has been very distanced and withdrawn, disappears and is nowhere to be found. While everyone is searching for her feverishly, the weather becomes worse and worse, and Lani’s and Luana’s nursery is threatened to be destroyed by flash flooding. The residents of Hana come together to help and show us what true “Aloha” means. But the biggest Christmas surprise is yet to come…
